Find the last number of the series at right, with similar logic of the series at left.

Optimization Puzzle

Place the blocks below, in the 12x16 field above so that they form a line stretching the length of the field /by connecting them to each other/.

The Rules:

1)      Of each  gray  block of a specific shape, you can use a maximum of two (2x6).

Of each  green  block of a specific shape, you can use a maximum of four (4x7).

Of each  blue  block of a specific shape, you can use a maximum of eight (8x2).

Namely, you can use maximum 56 blocks in total, theoretically.

2)       You can rotate and turn the blocks. (You can use the mirror view of them.)

3)       Specify your beginning block by writing letter "S" into this block's first cell.

4)       The blocks can be connected to each other by their most outward squares.

INVALID CONNECTIONS:

VALID CONNECTIONS:

5)       The line cannot be changed direction at the beginning and ending cells.

6)       The beginning and ending sections of the line have to face a free cell or a space.

7)       However, the beginning and ending sections can be connected on condition that they are at the same direction.

INVALID SOLUTIONS

VALID SOLUTIONS

8)       You can form more than one way by obeying these rules.

SCORE CALCULATION:

Write down the cell count of the blocks that builds the line side by side and in order.

For instance: 5, 7, 4, 4, 6, 3, 5, 6, 8, 5, 3, 3, 4

Sum the blocks which have same value and write down again them side by side as shown below.

(5+5+5), 7, (4+4+4), (6+6), (3+3+3), 8

15, 7, 12, 12, 9, 8

At first, multiply these numbers with each other. Then, multiply the result of this operation with the value of the beginning (first) block.

15 x 7 x 12 x 12 x 9 x 8= 1 088 640 x 5 = 5 443 200

The result is the score of that way.

If you succeed to complete a closed way (by connecting the beginning and ending cell), multiply the score of the line with 1.1 (10% exta score).

If you've managed to complete more than one row, calculate their scores separately and add them together to find out your total score.

Examine carefully the example score calculations.
